Business Summit of Diaspora Suriname

On February 6, 7, and 8, 2025, the “1st Business Summit of Diaspora Suriname” was organized in Suriname with the theme “Unity overcomes Distance”. The theme emphasizes that the Diaspora can make a valuable contribution to the development of the country, both remotely and physically, in the areas of investments, knowledge transfer, entrepreneurial initiatives, public and private partnerships.

The opening ceremony of the 1st Business Summit of Diaspora Suriname was co-located with the closing ceremony of the 2nd International Business Conference (IBC 2025), at the Assuria Event Center. Guests were warmly invited to attend the opening ceremony at the Assuria Event Center and continue building connections with the global diaspora.
